This year we welcome Thuy and Ildiko, both from Hungary. They help us with our programs and they keep our building nice and cosy. Besides that, they work in the pottery of the monastery. Also important is their work at the AZC in Alkmaar.

Elina & Klinta (from Latvia) are the two volunteers that lived with us in the 10 month-project last year: Become a Peacebuilder. Elina has started a Blog about here experiences and about what she wants to share with you related to being a Peacebuilder.
"Lioba School for Peace" is located near Egmond – Binnen. Beautiful and quite small town near the sea. It is perfect atmosphere for those who seek to find them self by enjoying beautiful area, silence and peaceful atmosphere. But when you need city's excitement Amsterdam and other cities like Alkmaar is not so far away. During your period here, you will have great opportunity to help and also participate in School For Peace by bringing your creativity and experience to schools programs. You will also be able to help in monastery area with the art craft pottery, helping in gardens or in the kitchen . One day during your working week you will have a great opportunity to choose outside monastery volunteer work upon your chose and interests.
